Sebastian Danta is an animator and motion graphics designer living in Sydney. He has worked with clients including Foxtel, Telstra, Shine, Lexus, Nickelodeon, Westpac and Coca-Cola, and enjoyed 10 months on the animated kids series Dirt Girl World. Seb also teaches Film Animation part-time in the Masters of Animation at UTS.
While studying at RMIT University in Melbourne Seb made two short films, Losing Face and Flat, which screened at over 30 festivals worldwide, including Telluride, Anima Mundi, Melbourne International Film Festival, Pusan, LA Short Film Fest, Palm Springs, Stuttgart, Interfilm Berlin and the Chicago International Children’s Film Festival.
Seb’s third animation, Father, was financed by the Australian Film Commission. It screened at over 25 high-profile international film festivals, including the Telluride Film Festival (USA), Animafest Zagreb (Croatia), LA Short Film Fest (USA), Anima Mundi (Brazil), the Melbourne International Film Festival (Australia), Dok Leipzig (Germany) and Montreal (Canada). Father won the ATOM Award for Best Animation in 2008.
